Hi Everyone , got a good bid ( i think ) for DTD Hilton . just wondering who has been there lately and what did you think ? its only for one night and we will be there late Midnight and checking out and hitting parks early the next day , but i am asking cause friends traveling with us are checking in around noon ... I put my Dad there for one night last year. He said his room was very nice, but small. He was very happy with it.

Hi,
I stayed there for 2 nights in march ( spending 3 mights at the hotle this weekend). I have a HH Gold card and god upgraded to the Executive Floor but the hotel itself is very good ( the pool area is very nice- but from your post it does not appear you will be at the hotel for long anyway).

The rooms are smaller than other Hiltons but still very nice and the fountainsat the front of the hotel are nice. Overall a very good hotel.

Another thing to consiter is that they are the only Downtown Disney hotel with Early Entry to the Disney Theeme Parks. Take advantage of that if you are only going for one day.

Using Hilton Hhonor Certificates:
My wife and our 2 children booked 6 nights for a special Golf package using Hilton HHonor certificate Code #TEEN for 100,000 points. A Certificate #SP8 for a Premium Points hotel is 195,000 points for 6 night stay so that is a consiterable reduction.

This is a great place to say if you are redeeming HHonors points and want to be the closest to a WDW property.

Other Benifits:

* Across the street from Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island/Theaters/Circus De'Solet & Disney Quest

* Close to Crossroads shopping Center if you need to get anything at a grocery store or eat at a Non Disney resturant

* Early Entry 1 hour before the Disney Theeme parks open on select days (same as all other Disney Hotel Properties)

* Free Disney transportation to all Theeme Parks. (Other Disney Waterparks Hotel properties Transfer via Ticket and Transportation Center)

* 4 star Hotel Spa/Golf/Room Service/Vallet Service/Consierge etc. ( Private Consierge on top Tower Room level )

* Hhonor points are redemable here as a Premium Hotel catigory.

* Free Parking (subject to change)

* Character Breakfast on Sunday Mornings

* Avis Car Rental located on property

I think its a great hotel to stay at and still feel like you are in WDW Resort.
