Hi. This is my first post on this board, since I am usually on the resorts board, but was wondering if someone could give me some advice. We were going to stay at GF concierge for a huge price for our 18th anniversary. We are going over Memorial day and the following week. But, yesterday we received an e-mail from Radisson and can stay there in their deluxe rooms with tix and buffet breakfast for about $2500 less than GF (DH loves that idea). I really like the EMH perks, especially since we will be there over the holiday weekend. Btw...you guys are a wealth of information about off-site hotels. Thanks so much for that. Anyway, I read on here that Hilton has EMH, and is right across the street from DTD. We can get a room there about $500 more than Radisson. My question is, has anyone stayed at both and can advise me which is better? We stayed at the Radisson one night about 4 years ago and loved it, but I am interested in the Hilton due to the EMH perk and proximity to DTD. I joined HHonors, but have no points yet, so I don't believe I can upgrade yet. Any opinions? Thanks so much to everyone, and sorry if I sound like I'm rattling on. The year has been very rough and we are going in 3 months and want to make my anniversary great.

I can't give you any advice about the offsite hotels- haven't stayed at either. We are going to be staying at Radisson Resort-Celebration for 1 night this fall, though. It looks good to us, and the location is great- only 1 1/2 miles from the Main Gate.

I just think maybe you can find a compromise between GF concierge and an offsite hotel- maybe a different (less expensive) Deluxe resort onsite? The WL is lovely, and the prices are lower than GF- so is AKL or even a Tower room at the CR.

If you really want to go offsite, the Hilton at DTD is the only one that offers EMH- that might be worth the stay. I don't know what the rooms are like, though.
