Hilton @ DTD - can't checkin 8/21-8/27?!?

Hope someone can help...

Yesterday Expedia.co.uk was showing a great rate for my stay 8/24 - 2/9 of £40 (c $75) per night which seemed lower than everywhere including expedia.com and Hilton themselves

Logged in today to book it and I'm told "This hotel does not allow check in on your requested check-in date". Playing with the dates I can get great rates if I try check-in up to and including 8/20 thru 2/9 and from 8/28 thru 2/9. It just seems to be a problem with any check-in date next week 8/21 - 8/27.

No joy on Priceline bidding for Resorts in WDW vicinity up to $71 (word is you should be able to pick one up for $60, all being well).

Does anyone have any idea as to why there seems to be a blackout on these checkin dates now please.

Many thanks - only booked flights yesterday and want to get the hotel sorted ASAP!

This is one of the WIERD things about Expedia... (It has told me Disney hotels only allow check ins on "selected" days)

I bet the deal is sold out for your dates. Expedia doesn't seem to have a good method to move you to the next rate base

My guess is that was a pay-in-advance rate, and you're too close to going. I can tell you I just got the Hilton for $62 off Priceline for a couple nights in September.
