Hilton Bonnet Creek to the Dolphin

In February, I will be traveling to WDW with my DH who has a conference. We will be staying at the Hilton Bonnet Creek. I've never stayed off-site, so I need lots of help! We would like to eat at some of Disney's restaurants and would like to try some new ones. We are usually on the DDP, so we thought we would try some this time that don't accept the plan. We are interested in eating at Shula's Steakhouse (using a restaurant.com GC), but I can't figure out the best way to get to the Dolphin. We are trying to keep costs down, so I would love to be able to do this without getting a cab. I thought taking the free shuttle to DHS, then taking the boat to the Dolphin. Same thing in reverse when we return. Does this make the best sense, or is there a quicker way?

This would work but you would have to go through the park first to get on the boat. If there is a bus that goes to the boardwalk area you could go to the Dolphin from there either walking or by boat.

Aren't you thinking of Epcot? The boat for DHS is outside of the park right past the buses, right?

The best way for free would be to go to Hollywood Studios and take the short walk to the Dolphin or you can take the boat.

Sometimes those hotel shuttles drop you off at the TTC. You could take a bus from there to Hollywood Studios and walk/boat, or go to Magic Kingdom and take the bus to the dolphin. With bad luck, if you get dropped off at the TTC it could take you an hour or more to get to the Dolphin.

Keep in mind the taxi ride is very short from the Hilton to the Dolphin, probably 5 minutes.
