I'm staying at HBC for a work conference next week, and was wondering, in terms of getting to the parks, what my alternatives were to using the Mears shuttle.

I could just get a Lyft, I suppose, but is it at all possible to walk to Pop or CBR and grab a resort bus there? Anything else?

Thx.

Walking is forbidden on most of property unless there is a sidewalk (and there are not many). There is none once you leave Bonnet Creek property. None to CBR or POP. If you try you will likely be stopped by security.

HBC actually has one of the better shuttles so I'd check the schedule for that first ... at least to the park then call Lyft/Uber to go back so you can leave when you want. And if I remember their shuttle is free.

Thx much. The Mears shuttle is indeed free.

HBC actually has its own free transportation to all four parks and DS on comfortable motorcoach buses (Bus is shared with the Waldorf next door) and it is actually operated by Mears. When you check-in at HBC the Front Desk will give you a transportation schedule with the shuttle pick-up times and information for the week. All you have to do is board the bus at the bus stop, sometimes they check for room keys to verify that you are an HBC guest.

We found the shuttle to be okay. We used a mix of shuttle and Uber depending on which was easier. The issue with the shuttle is it goes in a loop. It was going to take 45 minutes to get to Hollywood Studios. An Uber was around $12 I think and way faster!
