Hilton and EMH

How does the EMH benefit work at the Downtown Disney Hilton? I've only used it before staying on Property. Do you use your room key? I understand that it will only be available through 2015. I couldn't get a low-priced Disney Room for Halloween weekend so we're staying at Pop Century for 6 nights and then switching to the Hilton for the last two (on Hilton points). Any guidance will be appreaciated.

We stayed at the Hilton DTD about 5 years ago. At that time, all you had to do was show your room key at the park to gain admission to EMH. Not sure if anything has changed since then. Have fun!
