Saw some positive information on it. Anyone who's stayed there have an opinion? What's an avg. price per night? Thanks

I stayed there for two nights in January and enjoyed it. I had a $99 rate from the AAA web site. I'd stay there again if I could not stay at one of the Disney hotels.

I think it is OK. Have stayed there three different times. Rooms are on the small side. The lobby restaurant is nice and there is a Starbucks in the lobby. I would prefer to stay across the street from Disney but usually I go where I can get a good price. When I stayed here in 2003, 2004 & 2005 it was for a business conference. We paid about $109.00 in 2005 for a group rate. Didn't know about the AAA rate.

The Hiton is a 15-20 minute walk from Disneyland. Be sure to walk along Harbor Blvd. or else it will take A LOT longer to get to the park. The hotel is also the first stop to and from Disneyland on the Anaheim Resort Transit line.

When I stayed at the Hilton, my room had a king bed and was quite spacious. The bathroom, however, was small and poorly designed. Given Hot Mama's comment that the room she had was small, I wonder if I was placed in a larger room?

I haven't stayed here yet but have it booked for 3 nights the end of this month. I won it on priceline for $65.00 a night. Biddingfortravel.com had nothing but good reviews on it.

We've stayed at the Hilton and the Marriott. The Hilton has an impressive lobby area. However, the standard rooms are not that nice. They are in a real need for updates. The bathroom, especially, is in bad shape and can only really fit 1 person in there at a time. I had some difficulty helping my small DD in the tub as I kept banging against the toilet (ugh! :crazy2: ). The tiled floor had brown stains that kept having brown liquid come up. The tiled walls had brown grout all over. I had to line the floor with towels so we wouldn't step on that brown muck. The area where you would stand to have your shower had a vent above that kept dripping water down on you. We complained to the Front Desk who were indifferent and kept telling us that all rooms were the same.

I read some of the Tripadvisor comments on this hotel. I noticed that a lot of the positive comments came from people who stayed on the Executive level. Those who were in standard rooms and complained about the room's weary state and bathroom yuckiness were pretty much identical to my own complaints. So, hopefully, you are on the Executive level.

The Marriott, on the other hand, is fantastic, with comfortable standard rooms, and had very attentive staff.
