Did you hear Obama finally quit his church?

Only about 20 years too late :rotfl:

I for one though am glad that all that garbage of the church came out. Although Obama may quit the church, I am sure he will still be quietly donating money to it

Even Obama knows his church won't look too good in the general. The thing is the damage is already out there and already in people's minds.

My question is would Obama be quitting the church if he wasn't running for President?? I think we all deep down know what the answer to that question is ;)

Obama, just like a regular ol' politician, say anything to make himself look good. So much for being "different" :rotfl2:

Would Senator Clinton we fighting for FL and MI voters if she wasn't so far behind? I think we all deep down know the what the answer to that question is.

I  you DISUNC. Didn't I say I would write you in for VP?

I guess I was hoping for the sub-committee to do better.

Well everybody did make their points, and everyone was very specific in their points they made!

But KNOWING that barak came up with the "Uncomitted" votes in MI and got them all, then how he won his past contests Uncontested....is a BIG "CHEATER" sign from me.

No, even if the news did not come out about his wacky church he would still be a member.

'So far behind' is subjective.

Keep in mind she does now "officially" have the Popular vote!

Too bad the nominee is elected on delegates, not votes. How do you count the votes in all the caucus states? We don't want to disenfranchise those voters.

It seems like the whole process might have been a little easier if Obama's name were on the Michigan ballot.

I will vote for him if he picks Clinton to be VP.

You're correct and just a few months ago how nervous were Obama supporters that Clinton might "steal" the nomination with superdelegates.

:lmao:

1) Popular vote means nothing, because several caucus states don't report popular vote totals. Are you going to "disenfranchise" those voters?

2) The only way she "leads" is if you count zero votes for Obama in Michigan. If they had a fair primary, do you honestly think he would get zero votes?

3) "Delegates nominate. Period." ---- Harold Ickes

....and if the popular vote (discounting all the votes from caucus states since they can not be calculated) were of any significance that would be a wonderful thing.

Unfortunately, it is meaningless and inaccurate.

Just heard on my local news Obama is going to grace my state with his presence on Tuesday at a Rally downtown. Oh I should feel so honored :rotfl2: Instead I feel like this guy ----> :crazy2:

His lovely Michelle :snooty: is going to be here too

Thank God I don't have to go anyway near downtown St. Paul on Tuesday!

Here is the press release from today.

5/31/2008
Statement from The Clinton Campaign on the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee Meeting

Harold Ickes and Tina Flournoy made the following statement this evening:

Today's results are a victory for the people of Florida who will have a voice in selecting our Party’s nominee and will see its delegates seated at our party’s convention. The decision by the Rules and Bylaws Committee honors the votes that were cast by the people of Florida and allocates the delegates accordingly.

We strongly object to the Committee's decision to undercut its own rules in seating Michigan’s delegates without reflecting the votes of the people of Michigan.

The Committee awarded to Senator Obama not only the delegates won by Uncommitted, but four of the delegates won by Senator Clinton. This decision violates the bedrock principles of our democracy and our Party.

We reserve the right to challenge this decision before the Credentials Committee and appeal for a fair allocation of Michigan’s delegates that actually reflect the votes as they were cast.

By any chance do you have access to THE DES MONIES REGISTER?????:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'll buy into your explaination, without the "DisBoard Community Board Court Of Law" official legal binding evidence submission attachment!!!!!;)

:headache:

Des Moines Register

But, I'll give you the link to the archived section and you can fork over money for the copy should you change your mind and decide to require proof. :teeth:

...And there lies the problem. Why the 4 extra delagates??????????

This is Obamas 3rd election with Drama involved. His first run for the State senate he had his 3 other candidates disqualified....so he ran unopposed.
His run for the US senate, was because 2 other candidates were caught in scandals, and the GOP placed someone in the last minute. So naturally he won.

All HIGHLY SUSPECT too me. :furious:

I'm beginning to think you are DawnCT1's democratic cousin.

I'm also a registered independent.

And as to your question.......

Absolutely not! I'm going to vote for Obama!

Start getting use too saying "President McCain"!
