Hiking trails?

Can anyone recommend a nice hiking trail near the beach? We will be staying at the Villas at Grand California and have a car. I would love to hike in the La Jolla/Torrey Pine area, but I am afraid that may be too far of a drive. Can you think of anywhere a bit closer.

You can try Crystal Cove State Beach. It's just south of Newport Beach & north of Laguna Beach.
