HIJACKED to APPS

Moderators if I'm not in the right spot please point me in the right direction.

It seems that every time I open the Didbosrds on my iPhone and start cruising I wind up being redirected to. Apples APP store and various apps are being offered.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is this a disboards bug?

Do I have some kind of hidden bug that normally can't appear on an iPhone?

I'm curious as well. This is happening to me on the Dis and other websites so I don't think it's a Dis problem.

Same here I don't mind adds on pages but high jacking and making me have to close the apple page then restart the Disboards isn't right or acceptable

That does not fix the problem - it hides it - I do not want to restrict my use of the app store - only stop the DISboards app from using it.

What's wrong with the fricken DISboards app? Has it been hacked? It is unusable in it's current state. Every time I view another thread it redirects to the app store. I have removed the app. Let me know when you fix it.

Agreed it worked for me for about a day. As I posted on the other thread this is happening all over the web it's not just this board. It's the new annoyance in advertising.

Yeah, this is truly obnoxious behavior. If something did this to a PC it would be called malware. And it shows me the most stupid apps - casino games and other nonsense. Ugh.

I got the new iPhone 6 and this started happening it was so annoying! I have updated my iOS software and so far so good lol keeping my fingers crossed tat it stops
