Hijacked Home Page

I am trying to help my Dad fix his laptop. His home page keeps getting hijacked by spam. What can I use to fix it? Thanks! (He has XP)

sounds like you have been hijacked..you can find both under a search engine..sorry I don't have the link handy!,,or go to microsoft and get their free defender..this automatically scans your computer for spyware all the time..good luck getting rid of it!

I've had good luck with CastleCops (.com). You download their "Hijack This!" log program and the experts can help you get rid of all the junk you didn't know was messing up your computer.

I had that happen to my computer last year. My browser was hi-jacked too. The best was yet to come though. On Mother's Day, the "bomb" went off and my computer was totally jacked up. It took dh the whole day to get it fixed.
