Highway in the Sky Dine-Around

I think given the number of courses in it, it is worth it.

Yeah, I think alot of people will find value here with quantity. I'm going to judge more on the quality. I know for about $220 per person I can dine at V&A (without alcohol) and I know I can do a monorail tour ending at Cali Grill and watch wishes from their observation deck for under $300 so for me, the quality will have to exceed what I can get on my own for me to consider a deal.

Much like the DDP I think, I don't think one answer will work for all. It's going to come down to how you want to eat/drink throughout your evening.

I would think that if you're not going to be drinking the alcohol, the value goes down, as this is certainly priced with alcohol consumption in mind.

Oh, if you don't plan on drinking I certainly agree the value here is far less. Much like it would be for a "drink / eat around the world" in Epcot would be, the value of the package (for me) would have to be based on what was offered at each location, not just how much if it. You may not be able to get every item offered with the package on your own but you can certainly dine and drink along the monorail and watch wishes from CG for $150 per person on your own. Can you get as many drinks or as much food without the package, I don't know but at least for me more of something I don't want doesn't mean it's a good value when for the same or a little more I can get what I want.

for what they are charging I'm sure they are shooting for it to be a deluxe event. I am going next week, totally would have booked it if I wasn't already going with my 8 year old. He would die of boredom at this, lol.

In the future, Disney has activity centers at night for kids. We took our child there on our last trip (one at the Beach Club) and it was WELL worth the money. Tons for kid to do, they get meals, and at the Beach Club Captain Hook showed up. Worth looking into if you want a date night.

Looks like this is completely sold out through March barring cancellations. I hope for Disney's sake the first reviews are good otherwise there are going to be a lot of refunds to process.

Oh I know they do :) I'm a single mom and I work a lot and I have started saving up to take a nice vacation with my kiddo every other year or so, so I'm disinclined to put him in childcare when he's in childcare so much during the year. That said, my 2018 trip is going to be a cruise and I'm sure he will be loving those kid activities. I'd have to find a date to have a date night ;) this thing does not seem like something I'd want to do solo... but in another life, it does sound VERY appealing.

Just last night I got March 21.

Sold out this morning. When I looked about 10:30 or so there was nothing left for any date.

Just tried to book for ANY date in March...........all sold out! So I believe Disney has found a winner, at least until the reviews come in. I really hope this is a big winner because my wife and I would really be into trying this. The price looks steep at first but with the included tip............we believe it would be awesome (not a bargin......but nice by Disney standards).

We are excited to try it. I booked early yesterday for the end of Feb. Every date available has sold out at this point. I am hoping the reviews are good.

I booked as soon as I saw it come out on another Disney fan site I follow. I hesitated and thought about not booking it but I'm glad I did. Better to get a refund because the reviews were bad than to find out it is a stellar event and have missed the opportunity to go!

Checked this morning for a date in late March, all sold out .....Checked this afternoon and there was availability on three different dates we were looking at in March so I booked as fast as I could :tigger:!!! Keep trying!!

It'll be interesting to see what happens if (when??) the monorail breaks down between courses...

I wonder if all dates are sold out?

How is this already fully booked?! It was just announced today, and there's already zero availability for our trip in January. Ugh.

I would think its very limited, maybe even 12 or 24 guests. On another forum someone thought they might be using the private dining room at Citricos which only holds 12.

I have a reservation for one. Going to keep looking for that other seat. We'll have to see if it is a communal table like Dining with an Imagineer or assigned tables. Hopefully, I would be able to get an adr for two!

Now I keep getting an error message when searching for that seat.
