Just got back from a 4 night trip and in true Dis tradition I've rushed online to write my highs and lows.

Highs:

Dreams: It's every bit as amazing people claim. Finally a show that DLP can truly be proud of, it stands up to anything seen in any of the other parks. Amazing.

Christmas extras: The Cavalcade was excellent and the decorations look better than ever. The tree lighting was nice as was the castle lighting as we waited for Dreams.

Weather: It could have been much worse. It was pretty cold Monday-Thursday but that didn't bother us as we were prepared. It did hammer it down yesterday unfortunately which really restricted what we could do.

Meet Mickey Mouse: My son absolutely loved this and as we went first thing we only waited 10 minutes. We got a great couple of pictures.

Crowds: Busy enough to feel exciting but the queues were pretty good. A lot of rides were walk ons and I managed to do Crush with only a 15 minute wait.

Early check-in: We were allowed to check in at 11am at the Cheyenne. It meant I could get a couple of hours sleep after a very long drive!

Lows:

Princess Pavilion: I now know what hell is like! It was about minus 2 outside so they whacked up the heating to full in there. With all our layers on it was absolutely boiling. Kids were screaming and people were pushing in. We were inside for about 45 minutes and by the end of it I was almost dripping in sweat. We finally got to the end to meet Cinderella, we got about 30s with her and the pictures they took were awful.

Tram Tour: This should be such a good attraction but it's treated so poorly. It's in an absolutely awful state at the moment. The audio was playing for the wrong scenes and our TV wasn't working.

So another good trip but if I'm honest, I'm starting to feel a little Disney-ed out. We've been at least once a year (more often twice) for the last 8 years and it's probably a bit too much.

Welcome back, glad you enjoyed your trip

Welcome back  glad you had a good trip but I can understand how you feel as we felt the same after a trip a few years ago. We took a break of three years (although we did visit WDW within that time so it wasn't totally Disney free) and when we did return to DLP it was WONDERFUL. :thumbsup2
