We got back last night from 3 nights/4 days at the parks. First trip for my 18 month old daughter who loved every second!

Highs:
* Characters - my daughter's face when she first met Mickey Mouse will stay with me forever. I'm not ashamed to admit I got a bit emotional a few times just because of how excited she was and also how fantastic the characters were with her. We met, what we thought, was a good variety too so we were happy.
* Hotel New York - first time staying at this hotel and we loved it. We got a complimentary upgrade to the honeymoon suite which was amazing and has never happened to me before - and I've stayed in a lot of places. 62 sq foot of fabulousness. Staff were also very helpful and friendly.
* Dreams - amazing, fantastic, amazing.
* Weather - we had a couple of short light showers but nothing to really complain about and wasn't quite as cold as I was expecting.
* CMs - We had the odd one who maybe wasn't feeling the magic but on the whole everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.
* Discount - My first trip as a shareholder and I loved flashing that card. We bought a lot of stuff and had lunch at cafe mickey the day we came home so it was very very useful. Looking forward to using it again in March. I never had to wait too long for a manager to arrive either.

Lows
* Under 3 Eating - This is really poor. When I booked our half board vouchers I was told I didn't need vouchers for my DD because she was under 3 and ate free. We ate in inventions the first night so that was fine. However, in Blue Lagoon she was offered a plate of chips or rice and then she can 'have food from our plate' (not great but ok) and in cafe mickey they offered a jar of baby food. She's 18 months old and hasn't eaten a jar for quite some time. Don't tell me she eats for free when what you actually mean is she has to eat from my plate or starve. It was annoying paying ¬13 for a bowl of pasta for her when I was under the impression (from the French booking line) that she would be offered something proper. Obviously they're unlikely to eat three courses but offer something. A bowl if pasta and tomato sauce would have even been fine. I'll be complaining about it.
* En Coulisse - Expensive and the food was horrendous.
* World of Disney - Not a real low but a bit of a disappointment. Didn't really have anything I hadn't already seen before.

So there you are my lows to be honest were no real biggies. They had no bearing on how much we enjoyed the trip at all. We loved every minute and are all (including my Disney-sceptic hubby) looking forward to going back in March!

yes the under 3's eating rules are a bit vague. its seems to be hit and miss with people. my trip in june my 2yr old daughter ate for free everywhere and in cafe mickey she was given a bowl of pasta and then an ice cream for afters. in both our trips there, we have never had to pay for food for her. but a lot of people have said they have had to pay for their under 3's. i think it depends on who serves you at the restaurant. shame really.

but im glad you enjoyed your trip otherwise! :thumbsup2

We have always been really lucky with DD eating free they seem to be cracking down on it.

Glad your little princess had such a good time we have so many great memories from taking DD.
