I was going to do a highs and lows - but our trip was so amazing that there really weren't any lows!
We arrived late Thursday night via Orly to DLH.
We LOVED DLH! Just amazing. Breakfast was always plentiful and hot. Staff were efficient and pleasant. The location was truly excellent. We had some scorching weather, so were grateful to be able to go back and rest during the day.
Food - we ate at auberge, rainforest cafe, cafe mickey, casey's and cafe Hyperion. My children loved the character interaction at auberge and cafe mickey, ate the best at casey's and Hyperion. I'd give rainforest a miss next time. All food was good, but overpriced as everyone has said before.
The Parks - we enjoyed both parks and made the most of EMH. My children are 5 & 2, so we loved fantasyland in Disneyland park, slinky zig zag and the Cars ride in the studios.
We loved how close everything was. Having been to WDW before this was a real unexpected bonus. One day we did EMH, studios, disney village for lunch then back to Disneyland park. Ace!
Dreams was stunning!
Next time I think we're going to try a different accommodation (we loved DLH, but having seen how close everything is I think we'll be just as happy in one of the other accommodations). Also, we would definitely go by Eurostar next time.
Thanks to everyone for the help and advice. Having that little bit of extra knowledge really tipped this holiday into the amazing category!
Sorry this is short and sweet - I've been fitting in typing between laundry/cleaning/bath time and general getting back from holiday jobs!
