We just got back from a VERY cold trip, so as always, here are the highs and lows
HIGHS:
Cheyenne: This was my first time staying here. I have once stayed at SF and didn't like it at all, so I had my doubts about Cheyenne, but I was surprised. It's a nice and clean hotel with a very detailed theme. It needs some refurbish but so does the DLH.
CM: We only met nice and helpful CM's all over the resort. Some times people complain about the service and I know it isn't WDW or DLR standard, but for European standard it's good enough for me
My DBF forgot his bag on the bus and the CM in Cheyenne got it back within 30 min. Stuff like that is good service to me
Dreams: Well, what can I say?! AMAZING!
Crowds: No lines, no crowds. We didn't have to wait in the cold to get good spots for the parade or Dreams. We could walk on at the rides with no wait. The only time we waited in line was for Crush, were we waited 30 min. The rest was max. 5-10 min.
TOT: I completely forgot how amazing this attraction is. I normally go to the parks with my mom and she doesn't do wild rides and since I don't want to wait in line on my own, I skip them. This time my DBF went with me and I suddenly remembered how much fun they can be. I'll be going on TOT next time even though my mom won't join me.
Salon Mickey: Such a nice little place to go in and get a hot drink when it's too cold outside. We went in there 3 times and never met anyone else. And when you exit the place everyone looks at you like "Hey, where did you come from??"
LOWS:
The weather: It was SOOOOO cold. Even with lots of warm clothes it was freezing cold!
Low season: It's nice that we could walk on all the rides without waiting in line, but a lot of restaurants, rides, toilets and areas were closed. I was especially disappointed about POTC being closed.
That's it... No more lows!!! As you can see, we had an amazing trip.
It was my DBF first time to Disney and he said afterwards that he wouldn't mind going again
