Lol I need help! It wasn't too expensive to upgrade but i did also price upgrading our March 2015 trip but that was super expensive. To be fair we did get 4n/5d for £267!

Thanks! I didn't complain because it seemed to be a common quibble lately and I was mad at myself cause I should have known - I've always said the cheaper buffets are better, I naively thought Inventions may be better but not so. The waiter did make a fuss and bring me cake with a candle in and got our room to sing happy birthday but in terms of quality and character interaction it was a bit of a let down. I had debated between it and CG but I suppose there was only one way to find out. It wasn't great on any level bar our waiter to be honest. And the cheesecake. That was good! But not enough to justify €178 with discount and a gin and tonic (€13.50) and a cocktail (€14)

Oh dear - the fact that it was your birthday dinner makes it worse - so sorry that happened.

We went twice last year - we had premium vouchers and it was easy as we were staying in the hotel - and the first night was definitely better than the other but both were good. I'm in 2 minds about booking for this year - it's worth it if we get good character interaction for my sister but if not then I will be disappointed.
