I'm so annoyed with Disney dining right now. I'm sort of sick of this stupid free dining offer, because I can't make a reservation for any place I want to eat at this point. I'm not going until November, which means I just hit my 90 day mark yesterday... this isn't a busy time at Disney, so why is everything already booked up!

just needed to vent my frustrations to people I know will care :sad2:

Are you using the online booking system? It will check all your dates for you, and give suggestions if your first choice is not available. Keep trying, as others have suggested alot of times at your 45 day mark is when others will cancel who are going same time as you, then you can pick up their Adrs. Good luck

I booked one week after my 90 days during free dining with zero issues. Just keep trying - my ADRs have changed multiple times to get different times or different restaurants that might not have been available when I first made the ADR.

We're off-siters who will be a party of 4 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant and managed to shag every ADR we wanted including a CRT lunch. We were pleasantly surprised and used the online ressie system.:thumbsup2

I hope you can play around with your ADR's to find more that are to your liking. Good luck! Don't give up--

Take a deep breath and calm down. ;) I believe that Disney does NOT open up all available tables at 90 days. People here have reported bunches of openings showing up weeks later, and that's not from a cancellation here and there.
Book some of your 2nd or 3rd choices, and keep trying to upgrade in the next few weeks. I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Were going the last week of October and the first week of november. I have still been adding/cancelling reservations.

Bummer...but do keep trying...especially once you get within 45 days. I know I checked at 44 days on our upcoming September Free Dining, and all of the sudden there was dinner availability at Le Cellier, Coral Reef and other places that had been showing nothing for weeks. Especially handy to keep checking online...can look every day.

Another thing, have you tried varying your party size and/or time? The online reservation system only looks for an hour before & hour after...so if you put in 5:00 p.m., if 5:00 is not available, it will look for 4:00-6:00 p.m. And will tell you nothing is available when there might actually be a 6:10. And it only goes for exactly the party size you put in. So you might put in for a party of 3 and see no availability and yet if you put in party of 4, there it is. Even the on the phone reservation CMs may or may not do this. But I've had Disney CMs suggest trying for a different party size...and it has worked a couple of times for us.

I read on another thread that the computer system has been having problems with certain places. It's not time for me to book yet, but since i've been playing with the system i haven't had any problems getting what I want. Good luck!:goodvibes

Keep trying. We made a last minute trip for September 18 - 22 and I didn't start trying to get ADR's until August 1 and I was able to get some popular places -- LeCellier for lunch, Crystal Palace for an 8:05 breakfast, Sci Fi and the Plaza (I did all of these online).

Keep trying, my 90 days opened today so we will be there at the same time and this morning I was able to get everything we wanted on the days and times within about 15 minutes of what I was looking for. What are you looking for?

Phew... ok. So I had to change things around a little bit but it wasnt as bad as I thought. It was my first time using the online reservations - not sure how I feel about it yet. I find that I encounter a lot of problems using Disney's online reservation stuff and have to end up calling anyway. But anyhow, I wasn't able to get an ADR at Ohana's at all, so we're going to try Yak & Yeti instead. It actually fits into the schedule better... I was a bit upset at first, but excited to try Y&Y as well!

I got 98% of the ressie's i wanted just going online. But Le Cellier and California Grill was not to be had. I am staying at Cont Towers with Mk view and could not get CA Grill no way I tried. But its ok I got Flying Fish and Citricos. Hope you have some luck. The MOST aggravating part of the dining plan free or otherwise is definately ressies.

I don't think it's so much just the free dining. Disney has a bunch of other great offers out there right now.

I'll be there Sept 26th-Oct 4th and am not even using free dining (used an AP discount on the room instead, which was a better deal for me than free dining). I made ADRs at exactly 90 days out and was able to get everything I wanted, but had to switch days on one of the lunches I wanted. I was even able to get Le Cellier twice that week (lunch and dinner) when I called at the 90 day mark. Since then I have made several changes online, deleting some restaurants and adding others. Other people are posting about changing their ADRs, so ADRs are becoming available all the time. In fact, I am still trying to change days for my Le Cellier lunch. If I can, then I'll be releasing the one I have. I am on the DxDDP, so had alot of ADRs to make (19 of them:eek:).

Has anyone had any difficulty just getting in the system? I've been trying to get in for 25 minutes now and it's saying due to the large volume, I should try back later. :confused3

I just got 5 of my 6 online reservations at almost the exact time I wanted...can't get into Thanksgiving Day ressies, it is saying the system is too busy but I could book for every other day. Waiting for 7 am to do my group dining and hoping they can get me a lunch on Thanksgiving as well.

We booked a trip at 30 days out and I have Le Cellier for lunch, WCC for dinner, 1900 Park Far for Breakfast, Chef Mickey's for dinner and 50's Prime Time for lunch. I just kept on trying and plugging away. It was a pain but well worth it.

Keep trying on the Ohana ressie,I just got one for a great time for our trip next month. I did all my ressie's online. Good luck pixiedust:
