Higher ticket prices?

Did Universal raise their ticket prices as of 2011??

I priced out 3 adult tkts and 1 child tickets (2-day) before Jan and the price came to around $484. Now with taxes and all it comes to $579. That's almost $100 difference.

Just wondering if I'm going crazy or if someone knows if they had a price increase?

I think they are the same. Did you forget to include tax the first time? Were you doing 2 day park to park or 2 day one park?

I haven't heard anything of a ticket increase. When you hear of Disney raising their tickets, Universal won't be far behind...or vice versa.

It looks to me like you were just calculating using the base ticket prices the first time and the park to park ticket prices this time.

Thanks.... I think so too. I'm going to go back and recalculate. We are doing 2 days Universal (mostly for HP!) and 2 days at our favorite Disney park....EPCOT!

I was just looking to get two one-park one day tickets for US, as we really don't have any desire to park hop in one day.
