Higher Rates early November???

I have been watching for off site rates November 8-22nd. But, I noticed today that the week of Nov 8-15 and sometimes Nov 1-14 has gone up. Example Caribe Royal it is $50. higher for the first part than the last half of November which includes Thanksgiving. The same is true of Buena Vista Suites. Anyone have any idea what is happening at that time. I know that the Food and Wine finishes Nov 8th. Also, I believe Jersey week ends Nov 8th.

Veteran's Day falls in the second week. I think some school's are off for a little longer. Also 11/15-11/16 is the Soap Opera Weekend at MGM.
