Anyone else out there monitoring the wait times for MK seeing this? I've been checking wait times throughout the day for about a week now to help plan our trip in a few weeks and noticed times seem to be really high for what was forecasted (and compared to yesterday). Crowd was supposed to be a 4 (touring plans) and it was the most recommended day (easyWDW). Yesterday it was a 5/recommended and wait times and wait times were about 1/3 of what they are today! Anyone have any idea why?

I don't know but they are very high today... I know BTMR is closed so I was thinking that might make all the other wait times longer but it's really high... 80 min for HM right now! Yikes!

I did notice that earlier today. the wait times in MK had been pretty low for the last few days, I'm not sure why it is slammed today.

Big reason we don't look at, follow or believe in crowd counters, predictions and which park is better hoopla...!

Times today are crazy, BTMR was closed yesterday and Monday too! Splash Mountain was closed around 1:30 but open earlier. Even so, as of 1:30 PoC was at 70m (yesterday 20m same time), Dumbo 55m, Aladdin 50, Small World 50m, HM 80m... all of these were at 1/3 of the time yesterday at 1:30"ish"! Even earlier I saw much higher wait times than expected!

Where do you check yours at ? I go to facebook to Disney World Wait Times. I just wondered where else I can check them. But yes they look high today and it is listed as a crowd level of 6 on easywdw.

I check on both MDE & TP lines app

Epcot is looking a lot worse ... 115 for Soarin, 110 for Test Track

Compared to 60 for Splash and 70 for Space .... Big Thunder is down though, I would be sad about that if I was there :(

It is metro-Atlanta's Spring Break week. I drove south on I-75 this weekend and the traffic was heavy. Talked to some families at the Florida Welcome Center and they said they were from Atlanta heading to Orlando.

I am also following the wait times through My Disney Experience App for my trip in two weeks. Thankfully, Atlanta will not be at Disney World on Easter.

HM has been terrible lately - what's going on with that? We were there Halloween week and didn't wait more than 15-20 minutes?

Speedway: 50
Smallworld: 45
Buzz: 60
Belle: 90
HM: 50
Jungle: 65
PP: 120
Pirates: 80
SM: 105
Barnstormer: 70
Aladdin: 50
Pooh: 45
Mermaid: 60

Ditto...

Wait times are high in AK too, although they have EMH so I wasn't surprised there. TT is a little high but Epcot as a whole is not so bad (compared to previous days / crowd forecasts). MK though just seems so way off base!

the idea that someone would spend two hours of their vacation to wait for PP boggles my mind.

I am in MK right now sitting on Tom Sawyers island. The reason it is so busy is that it rained almost the whole day yesterday and a lot of people changed plans. I did AK in the rain yesterday and walked on everything. We had 8am breakfast CRT. We did PP, mermaid, barnstormer, dumbo, teacups, pooh, small world, and haunted. All before 11:15am. Since lunch we have done philharmagic, carrousel, still have all three FP for afternoon. Crowded but no problems when you have a plan.

Also. I will say that wait times had been half of what was posted. Haunted said 45 minutes. It was 22. Pooh said 30min minutes. It was 13.

I couldn't agree more! I can't imagine who would get into a line with that posted time!! The SB time just keeps climbing!

I hope Atlanta or any other state isn't there the first week of May either :)

That explains why wait times were so low yesterday too!!! I knew there had to be some reason! And spot on why we want to have a plan. At least have knowledge so we can make better informed decisions and be prepared to change those plans!

Fast pass return on splash was 10 minutes from first scan to in the boat. Don't worry about the high wait times. Just work your plan.

Ugh. :(

We've decided to pop down there next week for three days on a whim since my daughters college gives Easter break for a week. I know it's going to be awful...I'm trying to keep my expectations low and just enjoy myself anyway.

I'll probably end up riding the TTA 49 times with my son anyhow. That'll be fun.
