Has anyone done this?

I'm taking my Mom to WDW in September for her very first trip and she wanted to say at the GF (until she found out how much it was! ;)) but I'd like to take her to the High Tea there.

What did you think of it? :goodvibes

I think your mom will love it. Count on spending 3 hours at the resort. It is the cream of the crop for sure.

Thanks!

Is it enough for a meal? I'm guessing it is, just from the times it's served. :goodvibes

Will I still enjoy it, even though I don't like tea? LOL

My partner and I just had Tea at the GF during our visit last week for a late lunch, and it was well worth it for us. He spent quite a lot of his youth in England and approved of the way it was served. You can order as much (or little) food as you'd like. I ended up having the "Buckingham Palace" offering and it was just enough for a good lunch.

As for not liking tea, it depends on what kind of tea you don't like. They have excellent offerings there that really just blow Lipton right out of the water. They have high-quality black, green, and white tea blends, as well as quite a large selection of herbals. If you have your heart set on not-tea, coffee, soft drinks and water are all available.

I will absolutely do this again.

Take her. She'll love it!

I went with my dd's and am looking forward to going again soon. It is a great experience.

I love it so wonderful

I will be doing it for the third time in a couple weeks

Is there a "dress code" for the tea?

Should we wear nice summer dresses or can we wear shorts and blouses?

No dress code that I know of. Some dress in Afternoon Tea garb, with flowery hats and all. Most are just in regular park attire.
The tea is always good. :)

Umm, no hats for us (unless Minnie ears count?).:lmao:
