High speed internet

We have internet with At&T for 4 computers it is so slow plus price going up want to change. Have no idea who has fast speed.

Unfortunately, there is no simple answer to "who has fast speed", as they all do. All the big providers offer different tiers of speed, at different prices. If you've got 4 computers that are doing internet heavy stuff (like everyone is playing an MMO or is streaming a movie at the same time), you're going to need to go up a speed level.

Hard to say, A-T-and T offers at least 6 different speeds, which package do you have?
Dial up? DSL? U-Verse Fiber, and if U-Verse Fiber which of the 4 speeds? We went from ATT DSL to ATT U-Verse highest speed under a 1 year trial, then scaled back to the slowest fiber plan which is still 6 times faster than DSL.

I find AT&T DSL to be painfully slow and unpredictable. I changed to cable internet about 2 years and find it much faster.

It depends where you live and what other providers are available to you. I pay roughly $90/month for mine but I never have any issues and I need the extra bandwidth for gaming.

I think its DSL we don't have U verse in our area my teen always complaining when doing school work plus his xbox live he has problems with.

I have At &T plus Direct tv I pay over $200 for the 3 and get awful service .No premium channels no movies. I thought about changing to Time Warner but everyone says wait as they are merging.

I think its DSL we don't have U verse in our area my teen always complaining when doing school work plus his xbox live he has problems with.

We had ATT DSL, they discontinued it and switched us to the fastest U_verse for a year at the same price. When the special rate ended, I switched to the slowest speed. Both kids are out of the house, so DS's Xbox isn't an issue anymore. Most intensive internet software we use is Skype, works fine.

I wouldn't wait. It will be a long time before anything changes. The deal still has to get regulatory approval and then it will take a long time after that to combine companies.
