Has anyone else been like me and not grown to like high school yet?

Honestly, I miss Jr. High so much.

I don't like going to a school with 1500 kids and not seeing my friends or even people I know in the hall.

I don't like having lunch with 1000dr0u84e people I don't know and not being able to wander around and see my friends, since most of them have a different lunch anyways.

I really just don't like high school.

At my old school I knew alot of people and could talk to everybody, but here there are so many kids there is no way.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time. =\
Being in a class of less than 100, it's fairly easy to get to know people.

I'm the same with the halls. I don't know anyone but I'm fine with it.
I don't have many classes with my friends either. Yet I get to see most of them at lunch.
But I still love it.

Well My High School is Way better. The Halls at the Middle School are really small. And I see my friends just as much as I did in Middle School.

I actually like my HS. I only know about 15 people tops out of 1700 but its not that big of a deal. I mean yeah when we have extra time in class I don't talk to anyone in my classes but its ok. I'll get to know people eventually. My classes are ok. I like 3(maybe 4) of my 7 classes. My teachers all seem really nice. At lunch I get to sit with some of my volleyball friends who are in 5th hour with me. So yeah...I kinda like my school.

The only thing I'm still trying to get used to is the bus. I've never taken a bus to school. It comes at 650 in the morning. I have yet to take it home yet. I make my mom pick me up because the bus would drop me off at home @ about 345-350 and I have to be at volleyball practice at 4 so she picks me up and takes me back about 330-340. So yeah. There are about 6 kids at my stop, plus 2 more at the other 2 stops in my neighborhood. The bus is always full. Man, 1 year, 6 months, 11 days until I'm at the legal driving age. Then bye bye bus! lol

Well, in my grade I have 2000 so I am used to it. At the school we have (the intermediate high) has 4000 kids at it and in 9th and 10th.

this is why I go to a small school. we only have 292 kids in the entire school, and it will never exceed 300, because our founder of the school didn't want the school to every have over 300 students. I'm sorry you are having a hard time at your school, but maybe you can suggest to your parents that you want to go to a small school, it costs alot of money, but i think it's worth it.

I don't like it really.
I'm not a big spirit person. My entire school, is based on that. There is a senior at my school, that if you don't know who he is, you must be pretty dumb. He's just the loudest and proudest person ever there.

I have no classes with any of my 'friends'. There's about maybe.. 18 people, I wou ld talk to. Three of them, I don 'thave a single class with at all all year. But the people in my homeroom? Oh, of course I have to have classes with them all day.
I'm horrible at making friends, so I'm the supposed 'stuck up quiet snob in the corner'.
My math teacher is crazy and just loves to argue with three kids who are the biggest brats ever.

I could really go on.

Also sitting in the very back of the auditorium sharing a seat with a friend, or sitting on the stairs, isn't so great.

I only enjoy going on the bus, mornings (basically doing nothing in the hallway) and lunch. The only time I get to talk to anybody.
