we just finished Beauty and the Beast :(
vids to come I hope

NICE! I did that my sophomore year. It's the best show ever (:
What were you in it? ahah, I was just a townsperson/spoon.

That'd be such a fun show.
We're doing The Music Man. We have our second week of night rehersals then performance week. :scared1:
But I think we can pull it all together. :thumbsup2

7th grade--Into the Woods
8th grade--Fiddler on the Roof
9th grade--A Christmas Carol/murder mystery dinner
10th grade--???/murder mystery dinner
11th grade--Thoroughly Modern Millie/murder mystery dinner

We're doing Sound of Music right now.. set's are almost totally built (we should be done by the end of the month).. we've only been working since about the third week of January, so we've been going at a good rate.

Don't know how rehearsal's been going, yet.

Previous plays:
Godspell
Fame!
Fools
Curtains!
1940's Radio Hour

We are doing the Sound of Music right now as well! I wish we could have done Beauty and the Beast though!

btw nick jonas was in sound of music on broadway when he was little and played the role of Kurt. :))

I'm in Beauty and the Beast right now too!
We open this Thursday.

We're doing Annie... opening night is on Friday!
I'm in the pit orchestra.
Last year we did Wizard of Oz.

In 7th grade, we did Fiddler on the Roof and I was Hodel and in 8th grade we did 1776 and I was Thomas Jefferson. Lol.

Previous Shows: Beauty and the Beast, Wizard of Oz, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, The Canterville Ghost, Big the Musical, Les Miserables, Sound of Music, and Seussical
Current show: Once Upon A Broadway Dream

Really? I did not know that! I knew that he was in Les Miserables (I believe this was Nick) as Gavroche. But two out of the three Jonas Brothers were on Broadway as young boys.

Freshman Year- Annie (i played Drake)
Sophomore Year- Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon (eh..difficult to explain, haha) spring musical: Once Upon A Mattress (i play Jester)

Currently working on Annie (I'm the Appleseller in Hooverville and a Nun in the NYC number). We open two weeks from friday :scared1: We got a bit of work in front of us but we always end up pulling it together in the end.

Other musicals I've done include Peter Pan (as Mrs Darling) and Sound of Music (nun ensemble...sensing a casting pattern here?)

Congrats that's awesome! I wish my school would do that show but that's NEVER gonna happen, at least not while I'm there

Thank you! It's really a fun musical, because it's so versatile, and it doesn't have sex, drugs, or language. It's pretty controversial though, so I understand why schools wouldn't do it.

Ya that's probably what's keeping it from happening. Darn controversy

We are about to put on Grease (School Version of course). March 3 is our first performance.

My school's doing Willy Wonka! I'm in the chorus of cooks (which are Augustus's cooks, just an fyi for anyone wondering ;)) I would loooooooove to do something like beauty and the beast... but idk if it would ever happen... my school's pretty small and lacks funds for drama club... the district doesn't support us whatsoever financially.. so that kinda sucks...

Right now we're in the middle of getting ready for our musical in late March, The Pajama Game (I'm Virginia). The sets are being built, costumes are getting assigned, and we're in the middle of staging.

I graduated, and my college does not have a drama department :( But I'll be helping with the Children's Theater starting in the Fall and work as a stage manager during the annual fashion shows.

But shows I did in the past:
12th Grade: Wizard of Oz [Winke General, Pit Band, Costuming Director, and Assistant Director :) ]
11th grade: Oliver (Strawberry Seller, Costuming Director)
10th grade: Babes in Arms (Ensemble, Costuming Director)
9th grade: Annie [Ensemble, Assistant Costuming Director]
8th grade: Hello Dolly [Ensemble, Assistant Costuming Director]
7th grade: Guys and Dolls [Ensemble, Assistant Costuming Director]
6th grade: Oklahoma [Dancer]

I miss those dayyyysss :)
