I leave to WDW in 3 days :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Last night, I asked DD4 which autographs she wants to get and her response was: "Sharpe, Ryan, Gabriella and Troy Bolton." High School Musical plays in our house on a 24 hour loop on the DVD player. Is there anything related to High School Musical in any of the parks? Souveniers? Anything anywhere? It seems that my little princess has outgrown Cindy. :crazy2:

There's a new show in Tomorrowland with HSM characters, (which is dumb, because it's Tomorrowland!) I don't know if they've started it yet or if they give autographs after the show.

in MK in the emporium I saw HSM shirts and they have the DVD and CD.

Oh man, this could potentially be the highlight of her trip. If anyone has info, please share.

I don't think the show is starting until October. Also, based on the material I saw, it looks like none of the High School Musical characters will be in it and that the show is going to be the Wildcats pep squad leading cheers and teaching everybody all the dance moves to the movie's songs.

As far as merchendise, the CDs, DVD, and books were everywhere. I also noticed a few T-shirts at the World of Disney.

I'm really hoping it starts in the next wek. DD love HSM. It drives me a little nuts but she would be thrilled. If not we will buy her a Tshirt instead . Thanks for the info. :)

Yeah!
Everyone knows HStM should be in Frontierland!

Wait.

Main Street USA!
No, that's not it.

Adventureland.
Whoops.

Liberty Square?
Nope.

Fantasyland.
Close, very close, but not really a Peter Pan/Dumbo kind of thing either.

Castle stage?
Well... no.

I've GOT it... The PARKING LOT at TTC!!!

Way too funny!!

:rolleyes1 It's hard to believe that I couldn't see that you were always right beside me.... :rolleyes1

:teeth: DH refuses to go to the HSM show with me, so if you there in Dec. and see a 20 something dancing along with the little kids, yeah, that'll be me. :)

Problem is no place in MK is a good fit, how about MGM--there are a few empty sound stages over there aren't there--ABC theater?

I hope this lasts until April! My DD8 will love it! We will be at the MK on 9/22 - maybe they'll start it a little early! I really hope so - keep us posted!

I think that would be fine, too.

But seriously, the Tomorrowland Stage has been always been host to ALL KINDS of entertainment acts, shows, and contest events (cheerleaders, etc.).

Its not "sitting out IN" Tomorrowland. Its in its own enclosed area.

I think its fine to have this show (which pre-schoolers, grade-schoolers, high-schoolers, (and "I can barely-REMEMBER-school"-ers) seem to enjoy so much, on that stage.

It is amazingly popular and all in all I'm glad to see the theater being used rather than sitting empty.

I rented HStM from NetFlix last week and I watched it all by myself one night after everyone went to bed. I never dawned on me to let my DD4 watch it. She loves music and dance (what 4 year old girl doesn't right?)!!!
OMG i feel soo selfish :rolleyes1
I guess I'll just have to rent it again! :woohoo:

"We're Soarin'... Flying..." Hey... how about Epcot!!!!?? My DS6 is also obsessed with Gabriella and Troy. She has the "We're all in this together" dance number down pat now. Her two older brothers just run screaming when they hear the opening credits!!!! :cheer2: :moped: :rotfl2:

um, yeah... I'm in love with High School Musical! and I'm an adult (well, that's debatable I guess!) I would love to see the show that they have but we are going down next month and it won't be starting until October :sad2: I made a shirt for myself on zazzle. I'm such a dork!! but it's so good and the music is so contagious! :)

:rotfl: The kareoke version was definitely on the Disney Channel last night.

And, um, my remote got stuck, so I couldn't change the channel, so I may have sorta inadvertantly seen some or all of it. :rolleyes1

May have. And I may or may not have the soundtrack on my ipod accidentally.

I just dropped in here to say that you've gotta gotta get'cha head in the game!
