That's what I heard, too. Yes, they were lip syncing, but it was their actual voices playing.
I generally really like musicals, so I did watch this movie. It was pretty good. I really liked all of the choreography; I thought the basketball dancing was esp. cool. But the movie moved pretty slow. Also, I thought they could have done better choosing the singers, esp. the girls--pretty nasally, imho. I thought the best singer was the blonde guy, followed by the lead guy (Efron), then Gabriella, then snobby Sharpay. All of them definitely had good talent, though.
I thought it ws really funny how they included the scene w/ the siblings warming up, making all the defferent noises. But really, those are actual warmups!! I've done a couple of them myself before performances. It sounds ridiculous while your doing it, but it works!

Yah, it was on the Disney Channel. I'm sure they'll show it again. In fact, I believe it airs again both tonight and tomorrow.

I alsolutly loved it. My friend actualy had a party after a dance we had last night, so we could all watch it together. I also bought the soundtrack on itunes.

i liked it but there were some up and down side to it
Good side
1. the warmups
2. the melody to the songs
3. the ppl they chose
Bad side
1. the no no no nooooooooooooooooooo just stick to the stuff u know song i like the song but went on forever
2. the last song they did in the gym with all the ppl they had all these songs and it went to long
i give it a A-

I really liked it! I love musicals, so this was a pretty good dcom for me! My favorite songs were Stick to the Status Quo and What I've Been Looking For. All the actors in the movie were really good. Some parts were a little corny though and Zac Efron wasn't a very good lip sycher on Get ur Head in the game though.

I really liked it, I'm just a musical fan. Seriously, wouldn't it be so much fun if life was really a musical? But i was kinda dissapointed that there was no real kiss at the end...

yah i think a kiss would have been good but i guess since it is still just a disney channel original movie they have to keep the G rating throughout the movie lolol but anyway thought it was awesome...love musicals and thought it was one of those cute movies that you just have to see over and over lol saw it fri sat and gonna watch it again tonight..if anyone wants to know i think it is on again tonight(sun) at 8 eastern

I loved that movie. Some of the actors weren't that good at lipsynching, but there were a lot of laughs. I liked the song Stick to the Status Quo. I whole movie was really good.
