So my idea of both girls having one party just flew out the window. My oldest really wants a party by her self and I cave in today. Mind you the party is going to be April 4th, so I have a wk till I get the invites out. Now I've been planning a Mary Poppins theme party, which we are still doing for DD2. DD4 wants a High School Musical party. I need ideas, I really need a CUTE party invite. I don't like to by the party packs. I already thought of megaphones for them to decorate then they become the party favor. HELP!!!

I did a HSM party. It was a Karoke party. The kids had so much fun with it and since we had a Karoke machine it was VERY budget friendly. I don't do treat bags, so I can't help you out there. I hope everything works out for you. Also, you may want to make the invites look like a movie ticket or a concert ticket. Those are really fun and cool looking.

my daughter just went to one. They decorated their own gift bags, I thought that was a great idea. Did their nails and their own manicure items to take home and watched HSM with pizza, cake and icecream. She had a great time.

Thanks, I will go check out the web site. We will have boys at this party too. I was looking at the megaphone and maybe a pennat to decorate at the party, then it will also be thier party favor. I thought about karaoke too, and of course the good ol OUTSIDE play!

We did this last year! I bought foam megaphones at JoAnn's with foam stickers to decorate, pom-pom's at the dollar store, and I made shirts. Ironed on "wildcats" on the front and "5" on the back for my DD's age. Then bought fabric markers so the kids could sign the shirts.(They liked that the best!) If you have a Disney Store near you, the HSM soft-core baseballs are on sale for $2.99, and some other little things too. (pencil case, markers, post its) For the invite, find a picture of a clock, write "What Time Is It?" on the front, and inside write "It's Party Time!" We played the soundtracks from 1 & 2 and they just played outside. It was a blast!

I like the shirt idea. I may do that. I just ordered megaphones and pennat for them to decorate and be their party favors. I'm hoping the weather will be nice and they play outside for the rest of the time. I also got the Wii Sing it HSM. I'll have that up to play too. I did backstage pass for the invite. I'm also going to try to set a backdrop to look like a stage for her to open presents. Thanks for all the great ideas.

Now I have to start planning a Mary Poppins theme for my soon to be 3yr old.:scared1:
