High School Musical 2 BD Party

My soon to be 6 year old wants a HSM2 party, any suggestions?

We did this last year when my DD turned 8. We went to a local budget movie place and they played our movie (HSM2). We had pizza, popcorn and soda. We took a break mid movie to open gifts and do the cake. It was perfect because we had the entire place to ourselves, so the girls could run around, dance, sing, etc. For goodie bags, I burned copies of the soundtrack, put them in a HSM folder they could use at school with pencils, stickers and an inflatable microphone.

One thing we did was have the girls dress up (either bring clothes or pick from our dressup chest) and made a 'dance video'. We 'practiced' twice on the song of their choice from HSM .... then taped it... burned it on DVDs for each girl and used a pic we had taken of all the girls and put it on the DVD cover. (DD9 did this years ago for another sleepover and the girls all still have their DVDs and LOVE them) Kids liked seeing themselves on the video and the parents enjoyed seeing what the girls did at the party!

The Dollar Tree has a really cute megaphone and Pom Pom set in Red and White. When I saw them the first thing I thought of was what awesome party favors they would be for a HSM party.
