I read in another thread that the price drops on your $1000 cd with all the high res photos after a couple years. Is this correct? Also, does Disney notify you of this or something? How long does Disney hold onto all of this stuff for? I can't imagine they hold onto everybodies wedding photos for years and years. To store all that would be so expensive for them. So is this accurate and does anyone know what the price drops too if it is accurate and how long I'd have to wait for the discounted price?

Good question, I always heard this too and I've been married almost 4 years now so I'm interested in finding out.....

The price of an archival photo disc drops to $500 3 years after your wedding date; Disney only holds on to your photos for 5 years. They do not notify you when the price drops—you have to contact them.

The phone number for Disney photography is 407-827-5099.

I would just negotiate the lower price, I am getting mine for 350 dollars at the time of my photo shoot. This comes on top of the price of the shoot....
