High fever, abdominal pain, panicked mom!

My 6 yo dd got up at 4 a.m. with a fever of 103.7 and abdominal pain. I was so close to taking her to the hospital thinking it was appendicitis. I gave her some Motrin and a bath, and now she is completely fine! No pain, no fever. I don't get it!! Any ideas?

The effects of the Motrin can last 6-8 hours. As it wears off the symptoms will come back if it is serious. You might want to call the Dr and see if they think she needs to come in.
