Ok..so I just made an ADR at Coral Reef and the CM told me that we couldn't request a highchair because all of the tables are booths and that highchairs are allowed at the end of booth tables. Two questions- Is it possible that a Disney Restaurant wouldn't have high chairs (except for maybe V & A)? Also, all of the online pictures show tables with chairs, not booths in the Coral Reef.

Anyone remember what they sat in at the Coral Reef?

All the tables are booths? I was going to make an ADR at Coral Reef too but my DH uses a power chair and can't get in a booth. Does that mean no babies or handicapped people can eat there? ;)

From what I remember, the tables are curved booths so that you can see the fish from practically every seat. This would mean the highchairs would be out in the aisle way the servers and guests use. The seating is on different levels as well. I would assume that there would be some tables that could accomidate wheelchairs and ECV's.

There are normal tables at the bottom right next to the tank. Both times I have gotten one of those tables as a party of two. They are great seats!

We went in July and our DD was 13 months old. We had one of the curved booths. They said they could either bring her a high chair (without legs) that would attach to the table on the inside of the booth or a booster chair. We got her the booster chair.

When we were there, all of the tables against the wall on both levels were of the curved booth variety. However, there are still lots of standard tables with chairs - and they usually have the better view.I cant remember if we had a HC or a booster for our then 2 year old.

We were there in 2003, so our experience may be a little dated, but I doubt they have changed the entire seating arrangement since then. We sat on the second level at a table with 4 chairs. As another poster mentioned, the tables on each level against the wall/divider were the curved booths. The tables at the "front" side of each level were tables w/chairs, including the tables right next to the tank on the bottom level. DD age 2 at the time sat in a high chair at the table. I did not request a high chair until we got to the restaurant though. Had no problem getting one. Hope this helps. :wave2:

Thank you...we'll just see how it goes!

we just ate there a few weeks ago and it is still set up the way hearingaidmom describes it. we sat at a "regular" table & chairs that was on the front edge of the second level. my smallest was in a highchair & my daughter was actually asleep in the stroller & they let us roll her in and park her next to the table. we had to carry the stroller down 1 step, but there are tables on the top level that would be wheelchair accessable(not sure if they have some way to get to the botton level). enjoy your meal because we really had great food!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
