HIFS refer a friend program The good & The bad!

Well over the past 6 months I've distributed (with the help of this board) about 1 doz. HIFS referal pizza party coupons. Thank you everyone who used them Hope you enjoyed your stays!

Last month I received a check for $120 from HIFS! :jumping4: thats the good news. It came as a total surprise. I'd actually forgot about the program. It got me thinking that a few of my referrals must have stayed there by now so I called HIFS to check.
The bad news? Only those referals that booked rack rate get credited. They do recieve their pizza but the person who referred them gets zero.


I am a little disappointed. It's not our fault what rate the "friend" books at. Why should'nt we be compensated as promised? I mean we referred a family to their hotel.........right?

Anyway, just thought I'd let you guys know. sorry for the vent.

Oh, I'm at exit 3. Where is your exit? I didn't know it went up that high. (you do mean off of the Turnpike, right?)

That's lousy. Doesn't seem quite fair since you did your part. I'm getting more and more unimpressed with HIFS.

Programs like this routinely work on rack rate. Basically you are getting part of the discount your friends didn't get.

The program ends December 31, 2004.......just like all the other great perks at HIFS.

We are Exit 131 on the Garden State Parkway. wow, your at TPK Exit 3.......that's pretty far down.
