This will be my first trip to WDW and we will be there 8 day and would like to stay somewhere that is more like home and not hotel feeling. like a suite or multi room with small kitchen area.

I hear HIFS is a great place to stay with children.

Also, you can rent a villa from an owner with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, washer/dryer etc. from www.tug2.net.

or try www.hotelkingdom.com for a villa type that you are looking for. They are a very reputable wholesaler.

We just got back from Cypress pointe grand villas and it was home style hotel. The pools were warm and close to walk to. Hotel kingdom has them for two bedroom for $88 and it is very close to Dinsey for those afternoon breaks. They also have a cookout on Thursday that is free but get there ealy or the hamburgers will be gone and you get hotdogs. They had baked beans and bags of chips too. The Villas have elevators too and they are outside enty rooms and parking right in front of your hotel.

HI!
A few months ago one of the Disboards members was staying at Orange Lake Resort which was being promoted at HIFS as a Time Share but can be booked like a regular resort.
It is on Rte 192 not far from WDW Animal Kingdom.
Closer than HIFS to AK but the same distance to the rest of the WDW Parks.
I hope the Disboards messengers will help out!

If you have children under the age of 13, I would definitely recommend HIFS. I was just there. My DS loved the bunk beds in the suite. I enjoyed having my own bedroom. If you are not travelling with young children, then do not stay at HIFS, you will feel overwhelmed by the kids.
