Thinking of moving to offsite. I have read about the renovations, etc., to this hotel and had a few questions. Should it be a Nick themed hotel in February? Does anyone know what the rates/ammenities are supposed to be then? Still free breakfast, etc.??

:( No more FREE breakfast...........No more Entertainment card DISCOUNT...........Higher rates. :(

So, you're saying that in February, the switch to being 'Nick' would have fully taken place?

Their website says the renovation isn't scheduled to be completed until May 2005. Their website also says the free breakfast policy is scheduled to end 12/2004.

You might call the hotel if you're looking for more specific information.

It sounds like their won't be any more deeply discounted rates. The rates might not be any better than onsite. I'd think 2 value rooms, some deluxe (WL, AKL, S/D) promotional rates and possibly even 2 moderate rooms might be about the same price as the re-themed hotel.

Just to let you know that I made reservations for 2 nights July 6 and 7, 2005 just to try out the Nick theming. They did tell me that the kids could eat free for lunch and dinner. THe AAA rate was $180 per night. We'll be a HRH for 3 nights, 2 nights at Nick Holiday Inn, and 11 nights at GF. They have a kids spa and the pool looks like a small waterpark so I think we'll just take those two days to relax although they did tell us that they had shuttles to US/ WDW/ and SW. Can't wait to try it out. ALso they did tell me no more entertainment rate.

The resort won't be fully themed until May 2005, but I definitely want to try it.
