HIFS Bunk Bed Size Question

Friends of mine are planning a quick trip and have made ressies @ HIFS. They were told their Kidsuite has Junior sized bunk beds. They have 2 boys (14 and 11) and a daughter (6). Does anyone know the dimensions of these bunk beds? Would they be comfortable for a 5'6" 140lb (or so) young man?

Any help would be appreciated.

Stayed at HIFS 2 years ago. Just asked my 10 year old ds (home on a snow day) and he thought it was about the same size as his bed at home (a standard twin). Hope that helps. It's a great resort!

Last time we went my mother went with us and she stayed in the bottom bunk and was comfortable.

She is about 5'6" and about 200 lbs. (Don't tell her I told you this).

She did fine.

He could always sleep on the pull out couch if the bunks are too small.

The bunk beds are a bit narrow. The pull out couch is a better option for a kid who likes some room. There is also a small trundle bed in the kids room for a small child to sleep in. Might make your 6 yr old feel good to be in your sons room.

His size is very similar to mine and I'm pretty sure that I could have slept on those beds. Now, the bed that pulls out from the wall is VERY small and probably wouldn't even sleep my 8 year old. My then 2 1/2 year old slept on that one.

The queen kid suite has two twin beds, a queen and the pull out couch. Last year we stayed in a king suite. My boys are 10 and 9. They were about as big as you would want to go. My 6 year old daughter said that the pull out cot was not that comfortable and would have preferred to sleep on the pull out sofa bed.
