Hide/Find a Penny Thread

The first 2 pennies are being placed today and tomorrow See post #1 for the locations!

This game will only work if you all keep me informed, so don't forget to let me know where you hide your pennies so I can keep the first post updated

When finding pennies, PLEASE don't take them unless you are going to leave a decorated one in its place. We want to keep this game so everyone can find them Since I'll be updating the first post on locations this will only work if pennies aren't being relocated.

Ok, so, the idea is just to see if they're there and report back? Not to move them to a new location and post back here as to where they are now?

Correct. Otherwise there is too much of a lag in between when people may find/move them and when they get home from vacation to post. Then we'll have other people looking who are there that also don't have computer access looking for moved pennies.

I'm hopping over from the original post and I'm trying to follow what this has turned into. So there will be some hidden? When we find them we don't move them? We can hide pennies anywhere in MK and report back where we have hidden them? Do I have it right??

You can hide pennies anywhere is WDW you want to. Then report back where you hid them and where you found other pennies

I can't get to pms from my phone but I'll be at the Pop feb 5-10 and would be so greatful if you could hide one for my dd!

No problem. Would you like me to leave a special message on it? It can't be to long but maybe her name or something. I don't have a web phone and I am leaving my laptop at home this trip. So we need to figure out a way for me to get the location to you after I arrive home. I should be back by 7pm on the 6th. Just let me know.

Anyone going next week, would you be able to hide a couple at DTD? I'll be hanging around there with my DS while my DH takes the older two into DQ and it would be fun to look for them with him. We'll be at DTD on Feb 6th.

I'll do it for ya! We'll be there on the 1st so I'll hide a couple for you and post their location on the 3rd (we're home late on the 2nd).

We head to WDW on Sunday!!!

I have our four pennies ready to go. It's funny someone else did what I did with my DISgreen nail polish. Great minds think alike!!!! (I'll take a picture and add to this post soon.)

We plan to hide one in each park. I was going to let the kids choose. So, I will post the locations when we get back.

Sunday (1/31) - Epcot
Monday (2/1) - MK
Tuesday (2/2) - DHS
Thursday (2/3) - DAK

I'm in! I'll be in the world from 2/11-2/20, and I'll try to hide one in each park.
my pennies will have a silver mickey (drawn with a metallic sharpie) with "dis!" written on them, and "hide me!" on the opposite side.
More details after I hide them!
