Has anyone done it lately? Worth while?

Eh....
We did it in January.
We have also taken KttK and UnDISCOVERed FW.
Those were better and offered more bang for the buck.
I used the DC discount. And even with that we both thought we overpaid, when comparing the price vs value on the other two tours.
It was interesting. But we both thought it was overpriced and we both used the same word "lacking".
After the other two tours, it was let down. If we hadn't taken the other two tours we would have been more impressed. ;)
And for the topper I was charged the full price for the tour and had a heck of a time getting a refund for the DC discount. I was really getting angry and frustrated by the time I finally got it, as whatever CM I spoke to just pushed me on to the next one, and this went on for too long and too often.
I learned -- the credits have to be issued by the tour area over the phone.
But I wasted a lot of time finding the right area to push me on to that area.
So that just was the topper for disappinting us with that tour.

DH and I did Undiscoverd FW, Hidden Treasures, and Keys to the Kingdom in December. We thought all were excellent. DH probably liked Keys best and I probably liked Hidden Treasures best. I think it depends on what you like at WDW. DH and I are huge World Showcase fans - it's our absolute favorite part of the parks. So, for us the Hidden Treasures tour was fascinating.

Also consider when you are deciding if you like to see behind the scenes or don't.
With Hidden Treasures, we saw very little. (Behind France and Canada.)
Some like to see it. Some are disappointed when they do.
We were disappointed we didn't see more. Another couple in our group said they were disappointed because they saw some, period.

I took it in December and I truly enjoyed it. I love Epcot and especially WS so I really liked it and learning all that I did get to learn. I did enjoy the backstage area that I saw as it really gave me an idea what it was like back there... kind of cool to see behind France. So if you aren't looking for tons of behind the scene stuff but interested in learning more about WS, it is a great tour :)
