Hidden Springs Pool at VWL

Hello all-
I've got a 2-part question; when will the Hidden Springs pool at Wilderness Lodge re-open and will I be able to Pool hop there this summer? We're staying at Tree House Villas using our DVC points and will be dining at Whispering Canyon on our last night. We'd like to be able to grab a quick swim before or after dinner; what do you think of our chances? Thanks in advance to all who respond!

when will the Hidden Springs pool at Wilderness Lodge re-open

In a "pure" sense, never. It will become "Boulder Ridge Cove." It is scheduled to open in "summer 2017." Which is to say, anywhere from Memorial Day to Labor Day, take your guess and you'll maybe be wrong.

It is not expected they will reopen pool hopping at Wilderness Lodge even when it opens. The expectation is that WL is off the pool hop list for good. So I think your chances, even if it opens, are poor. They will want to keep the pools "exclusive" as a sales tactic for the new DVC at CCV.
