Hidden Mickey's.......... at the Poly?

I'm trying to explain to my children about all of the hidden Mickey's. Does anyone have any pictures (polynesian would be great!) of hidden Mickey's so I can show them? We've never looked for them on our past trips.

No, sadly I do not have any pictures, but they are apparent in the carpeting, wall paper, and light fixtures.

I don't know if the Poly has this, but at the WL they had a 'scavengar' hunt for hidden Mickey's available at the front desk. It was just a simple sheet of clues to try and find about a dozen scattered around the hotel. My kids loved hunting for them so much, we bought a book on site that lists TONS of hidden mickeys all over WDW and where to find them.

My son's favourite hidden mickey is on the counter at the Kona coffee counter. Sorry no pics though.
They will give you a scavenger hunt sheet at the desk.
Google "hidden mickey" and you will find an amazing site dedicated to them with plenty of pics. The owner of the site is the author of the ultimate hidden mickey hunt book. We spent one entire week using this book a couple of years ago - spending a couple evenings resort hopping to search for them. Great fun while running around the parks, waiting for rides etc.

If you walk into the main lobby and go to the back, take the stairway on the right to the second floor. There's a hidden Mickey in the bamboo tubes as you're going up the stairway.

We leave for WDW tomorrow. I'll try to get a picture for you, but don't expect to see it before December 12.

My kids are very excited, this is our 3rd trip and we've never looked for hidden mickeys! Are they all over the parks too, or just the resorts?

They are all over. You could make a trip into finding HM's. There's a book you can buy that shows where they are. They sell it in the shops.

We were scheduled for a dinner at Kona Cafe. We arrived a bit early and asked about the Hidden Mickey in the floor. We ended up with a tour of all the Hidden Mickeys in the pictures at the check-in desk.

They also told us about this one.
