hidden mickey wedding rings, any suggestions?

i've had a thought, wouldn't it be great as a disney bride to have hidden mickeys on your wedding ring? i fancy doing this but haven't a clue where i'd start looking or if this is even possible. does anyone have any ideas?

When we were in WDW in sept, we found a set of mickey bands. I am thinking of useing this as my wedding ring. it has mickey heads all around it. I get a lot of compliments on it as i where it all the time on my wedding finger now.

My fiance had my ring customed made and it's mickey's famous 3 circle icon. For the engagement ring right now it's mickey's head as a diamond solitare then for the wedding I will get the ears which is a seperate band that fits on top and the ears are each of our birthstones. So right now I have been telling everyone that I am earning my ears. ;-)

does anyone have any ideas of how to get hold of the disney weding bands that are available in WDW, i'm from the UK so cant buy them before the wedding and dont want to wait til we get over there to buy the rings in case i dont like them ar they dont have any. any ideas? ive looked on the disneystore.com but think world of disney does a lot more stuff than the DS, do they have a website? also does anyone have any photos of their disney wedding rings so i can get an idea of what to look for?

Because of the way my engagement ring is made, I have to have a wedding band custom made. On each side of the main diamond, there is a great opportunity to put two little mickey heads. We'll see how much it is, but I am seriously considering it. I think it would be so neat!

If they are sold on Disney property...you can get them through the Disney resort shopping line. If you call anywhere at Disney, they should be able to give you the number. I have it at my office...If you PM me I will be reminded to get it to you I just ordered slippers for my FDH from Saratoga Springs last fall by using the service...

Not sure, but on our 5th wedding anniversary DH and I went to Disney (we were poor college students when we originally got engaged and we had a Disney "themed" wedding in RI... On our 5 yr anniversary trip in 1999, my DH surprised me with a Mickey head shaped diamond ring to replace/upgrade the tiny diamond engagement ring he'd given me when we got engaged many years before....he presented it to be during that evening's Spectromagic and I thought it was just a cubic zirconia ring he'd gotten there-he had to later tell me that he had it made months before by a jeweler out of diamonds!LOL! Wouldn't you know that 2 weeks after that trip, we discovered we had another souveneir coming about 8 months later?!?!?! Our first DD!

Alright, I just went today and got my hidden mickey wedding band! Well, I told them what I wanted, it will take a few weeks to actually get it, but when I have it, I will definitely share some pictures-if I can figure out how to post them!

How much would you estimate it to cost if i were to get my engagement ring from disney the CZ and have them upgraded to diamonds or another stone? Also have any of you seen the other type stone mickey rings that they ahve for around 2-300 dollars Im jsut not sure if they are to wide to add a wedding band to, and help?

my wonderful Best Man and his wife gave dh & I mickey wedding bands for our wedding last year. We got married at the Swan as we had too many for an intimate and didn't want to pay for a custom. It was wonderful. (1 yr on 4/19!) we're going to discovery cove this weekend for our anniversary- I hope to stop by the Swan on sunday for the character breakfast!

That's what we've done as well, except with little diamonds instead of the birthstones.

My fiance and I are having hidden Mickey's too, but they will truly be hidden. We have decided to get the simple Mickey ears engraved on the inside of our wedding rings along with the wedding date. We thought it would be a nice addition to our rings!

The jewellery store that we go to all the time has someone on site three times a week who does size adjustments, stone changes and engraving, so we are just going to ask him when we go to buy our rings. Hopefully he will know what we are looking for! We'll probably bring pictures of the mickey ears just incase.
