Hidden Mickey book or phone download?

I want to get a book for my Best friend and I, Its her first trip and shes not really into rides. I thought it would give us something else to "look for". Should I get the book and then check off the ones year after year that I find or go download so I have one less thing to pack into the park. Thanks
