What items have you found at Disney World that were hidden in plain sight for all to find?

I've never seen anyone (but us) pull on the ropes near the cargo boxes at HS, between 50's Prime Time Cafe and Indy Jones (as you walk, on the left). When people near us hear the voices they are just shocked - we get a huge kick out of it.

I'm sure this wasn't what you were going for but.... if anyone found our woody doll on the picnic tables at HS, he wasn't there for you to find and keep. He was a lost toy.. literally. I hope he was happy at his new home. :rolleyes2

I heard there is a wedding ring at the HM attraction.
Just a little more info to add...
The orig. ring was a post that was cut and removed outside of the attraction. Because of the "story" that came as a result there was an actual ring added during the last refurb.

The old ring was supposed to be at the exit in front of the buggy, although I never saw it (just learned about it recently and haven't been in 2 years). The new ring is supposed to be somewhere in the new entrance line.

The new ring is in new entrance path. My daughter found it when we were not really looking for it.

I saw a wooden leg named Smith. If memory serves me correctly, it was up on a shelf at the train station, I'm thinking Main street station. It's in reference to a line in a Mary Poppins movie.

What's the name of his other leg...and did you find it? LOL

On the Winnie the Pooh Ride there is a picture hanging on the wall inside the ride of Mr Toad handing the deed to Owl. Becasue this land was occupied by Mr Toad's Wild Ride prior to 100 Acre woods taking over

Where is the ring at?

It's in the new interactive line right before it merges with the other line. It memory serves, it is behind a railing, so you can't walk on it. It is behind the busts of the family who was all killed (the twins, etc.).

There is also a tombstone for Mr. Toad just outside of the exit to HM.

I'm pretty sure this is in the frontier land station. But it's an awesome Easter egg to find!

I love the two lanterns in the window in liberty square, paying homage to Paul Revere's ride!

Also in the Liberty Square area - Look down ! Notice that the center of the street is more of a brown shade than the reddish shade of the street/walkways in the area. There is a reason for that - there was no sewer system back in those days. I'll let your imagination fill in the details. :faint:

Also, from a podcast which had Jim Korkis ( Disney historian ) as a guest - what time period and what date applies to Main Street USA ? The time period would be 1900 to 1910, due to the horse and horseless carriage (car) being available, and that both gas and electric lights being used. As for the date : you have entire families milling about, the shops are open, plants are in bloom, and it is a festive and celebratory atmosphere. During this time period most people worked six days a week and shops were closed on Sundays.

So, what date best fits this scenario for that time period? It's obviously a holiday, and there were fewer national holidays at that time. Which holiday? Independence Day, the 4th of July :cool1:

A fair number of cities in Europe still have a trench running down the middle of the cobblestone streets. Water still runs through them, but generally not raw sewage.

where is this?? I have looked and looked ~

The Mr Toad pic is pretty much right after the ride starts - look quickly over to your left as the ride vehicle starts moving into the ride. It is hanging on the wall. :thumbsup2

The ring in the HM queue line is past the sea captain, and it is between the fence and a trash can.
