Hello.
I am new to this site. I found it whilst off on one of my dreamy hunts around the web
for some Disney offers.
We went to DisneyWorld in March 2008 for a WHOLE 28
, yes 28 (sigh) fabarooney days!!!
I can honestly say they were very probably some of the happiest days of my life.
When we went we booked very last minute and did very little planning - it was a spur of the moment trip after a pretty horrific
time here at home and we needed desperately as a family to get away together and have some fun and to try to be happy again and Disney certainly worked its magic on us.
Prior to our WDW trip of a lifetime we had been to Disneyland Paris twice on 5 day breaks, in the cold February of 2004 and even colder January of 2005!!! Much as we had a brill time and have lots of lovely memories, it was alot nicer to walk around WDW in the sunshine and warmth!
My husband loved Disney but being Mr Thrifty
said as we went for a whole month before there was no need for us to ever go to back to WDW again
. However, I think me and my 2 girls have slowly worn him down somewhat over the last 18months and yesterday he said those 4 (or is that 5
) little words "whatever Makes you happy"
SO it looks like me and my girls have got our way and have started to start looking around at flights, deals, etc etc. I think he is ctually quite excited himself.
He says as the flights cost so much we may as well go for as long as possible again
!! He has a serious amount of leave to take from work next year as he has been working away alot this year and taken very little leave. So I think we will be looking at either 3 and bit weeks around easter time 2010 (as it has to fit in with the girls school holidays) or a month in July or August or even the very beginning of September before the girls go back to school after the summer holidays.
Well I have waffled on plenty
- sorry - so am now off to have jolly good read of this site.
Look forward to getting to know you all!!
