Well, I don't think that anyone could block out the board for you. On the homepage it just shows the listings of all the boards that the DIS has to offer. It doesn't mean you have to go on all of the boards if you don't want to, it's just there so you know what is on offer on the DIS.

There are lots of communites on the DIS that are suited to different lifestyles, for example, we have a disabilities board for those that require extra assistance on vacation, we several trip planning forums for those planning vacations, and, we also have a LGBT board. And again, no-one's forcing you to view that particular board if you don't want to.

What you could always do is save the pages of the boards you wish to go to on your favorites listings and so that way you can go from page to page as you wish. That way you don't need to go through the listings to find your favorite board on the DIS, and you won't have to view any boards that you don't want to view.
