Hi from beautiful sunny WDW!! I'm currently waiting on my lazy slow family to get their butts in gear so we can head out... I love to be at the parks early but to no avail am I winning this battle!!

We are however having a wonderful time and no sunburns!!! DH is doing well... and we aren't having an issues w/ his DX. YEAH!!! The kids are having a blast.. They aren't fighting.. I think I'll pocket WDW and take it home w/ me to prevent future breakouts!!!

We watched Spectro last night and got a seat right on the curb!!! It was fabulous!!! Had a front row seat for Mickey's Jammin' Parade too... and it also seems that the Hoosiers are down here in record numbers!!! DH wore his Indiana shirt and was laughing at the number of "Go Hoosiers" we'd hear from all paths!! OMG! I even saw one of my former roommates/sorority sisters.. She looked at me and laughed and said now we live 45 minutes away from each other and we come to the world to run into one another!!

We'll just wanted to let you know we are okay.. hoping to return to the state of IN if they have the interstates opened back up..

Hey AWM: Is 74 opened going toward Indy? Can I get across the OH river?

BAMB! Mom can finally see the pavement in her parking lot!

OH, and no more water in my basement.. just the little puddle I had told you about earlier!!

better yet, our pool home rocks... and we are five minutes from the parks!!!
OK, off to get these people moving or else!!

It'll take 1 hour 31 minutes according to mapquest from my town to that one. Not sure what is in Richmond, but I'll go visit if I'm not already committed (to picking up my kids, not the rubber room kind).

lots more later.. and can you believe the EX is driving me nuts down here.. she is calling while on vacation to make summer visitation changes and he is dumb enough to do it.. knowing we don't have our calendars w/ us..
and he is more worried about $24 internet service that isn't working.. we are using wireless..... more worried about the trival than the fun.

Ok, I better go they are starting to rattle.. maybe we'll be there nby 10 today..and not 11..

I'm more excited about this trip than anyone else... so next time remind me to go by myself...and stay on property since it's just me..

I have the same role in my family - no one loves it like I do. The only way we can all peacefully co-exist on vacation is if I get to go without them, so when we do go together, I can deal with their schedules/preferences a bit easier. Although, my one rule last trip (and I can't believe how well I was able to enforce it) was we had to be at the parks at opening. We could leave early, take breaks, skip nighttime stuff, eat where they wanted to eat, etc but we had to be there at opening. DH needs a Dunkin Donuts run every morning, so he had to get up early to do so and be back in time. Looking back, I can't believe I didn't get more complaints, especially from the teenage girls who don't get up before noon on the weekends. I think I hold more power than I realized!
