Long time lurker, first time poster.
I'm 23 and a life-long Floridian. My first trip was when I was 9 months old and after countless day trips, a few weekend stays, and a week long vacation, it's safe to say that I love it more now than ever before. Disney addiction definitely runs in my family. Most of my extended family lives in the Orlando area (that's where my mom was raised) so it's always been easy to go to Disney when visiting them. My great-grandmother was a pastry chef at the Contemporary when it first opened and because of that my mom was able to go to the Magic Kingdom for the CM preview day before the park opened to the public. Mom also performed in parades and shows at the Magic Kingdom as a teenager. Is it any wonder I became the Disney nut I am today? Today, my mom and I still enjoy our girls weekends to WDW and whenever I visit my family in Orlando, my cousin and I always take a day (or two or three...) at the parks (thanks to our seasonal passes!).
I love Robin Hood, the Haunted Mansion, Spaceship Earth and Ohana. I miss Horizons, Dreamflight, the old Tollhouse cookies at the Main Street Bakery, and Kitchen Kabaret. I always wear my embroidered Mickey ears to the parks. I can't go to Epcot without buying Cadbury Buttons at the UK pavillion.
That's my Disney life in a somewhat large nutshell.
