So I was horning in too much the guy's thread about being sad about not winning anything for Year of a Million Dreams so I thought I'd come here and ask...

Who's from Ohio? Do you ever drive to WDW? Isn't it a beautiful day here today - it's reminding me for sunny Florida!!!

I'm from Ohio!

Born and raised in Columbus. After a few trips visiting Disney, we decided to move closer to the magic! So we relocated to Tampa!

We used to drive to WDW every year. 15 hours one way. I do not have fond memories of the actual drive time. lol

We used to drive to Disney, now we fly. Now that I've flown, I don't think I could ever drive again!

I live in Middletown Ohio (outside of Cincinnatti and Dayton). We used to drive down when the kids were little but now we fly.

Another Buckeye checking in. Originally from NW Ohio, now located in Central Ohio. Parents always drove when we were kids, We've driving this year as well, but are breaking the drive down into a two day adventure.

Another Ohioan I'm originally from NE Ohio (b/w Youngstown and Cleveland) and now live in Upper Arlington (suburb of Columbus, came for college, stayed for good!). When I was young, my parents drove us once. We flew most of the time. We've only flown, but I'm really not opposed to driving! It'd be an adventure!

stow here, I have never driven to WDW but DF has with his family and insists that we fly and if you look far enough in advance you can get a great deal on a non-stop from Cleveland to MCO through Continental! We will be using it a lot more since becoming DVC Members!

Another Ohio-born girl here. I grew up in Shelby and came to Columbus for college and knew I never would go back! I live in Dublin, which is a suburb of Columbus as well, and just down the road from Chrisgw's home of Upper Arlington.

We absolutely fly. I've driven to Orlando once, but don't ever see me driving there again if that's the only destination.

BTW, I have family in Middletown and my best friend since kindergarten lives in Stow and I have more friends that live in Northfield Center. Small world here on the DIS!

North Canton gal here. Have lived here all my life and trying to convince hubby to move closer to the World but so far he's not going for it... but we'll keep trying. We have flown a couple times and driven a couple times. If we are driving we usually leave at like 7 pm so that the girls sleep most of the way down and that way when they wake up we don't have too much farther to go!!! We will be driving down this time so we'll see how it goes if we do it again or if we fly after this one.

Every year my parents would drive from Cleveland. We took two days and spent the night in Hardeeville, NC (?).
