Hi! question about a one day pass

Hi, Im new here and I have a question! This summer me and my girlfriend are going to universal studio for one day, with a one day pass. I would like to know is it possible to jump between the 2 parks? or can I can I choose which park I want to do between Island of adventure and Universal studio with the pass? One last question can I use the universal express system with this pass?

A 1 day/1 park pass costs around $50. It does not give park hopping privilidges.

A 1 day/2 park pass costs around $75. This pass gives you park hopping capabilities.
