DH is at Outback having dinner on the company he works for and I'm home with DS11 having Kraft Mac 'n Cheese. :sad1:

We were going to have waffles but I don't have all the ingredients and I can't go to the store because DH has the only working vehicle. His car needs a part so he took my van. :sad2:

Plus, I homeschool DS15 and he was sick today. Needless to say we didn't do any schoolwork. I got to play Nurse Mom instead.

Thanks for listening. I'm just feeling sorry for myself this evening. :sad1:

Awww, you sound like a good mom. If your DH doesn't bring you some dessert, he should totally be in the doghouse. Maybe you can get a turn to go out with the girls later this week.

I think you should absolutely be whiny! Make him bring you something home!

You are officially approved to whine! Maybe see if you have a bottle of wine ... :goodvibes ... it might look a little better after a glass.

I agree, some real wine to go with your whine would be great.

Can you order some take out food to be delivered?

:sad1: He didn't bring me back anything! Not even so much as a crumb.

My night out with the girls was last night but he said he wanted us to do something so I didn't go. Then, after it was too late to meet up with my friends, he said he forgot he said we'd do something.

No wine for my whine. I drank the last of it last week and haven't made it to the store yet.

I never even thought about ordering from a delivery place. Rats!

Making it even better is he went to bed about 8PM because he was tired. :headache: Yeah, I can see how a 3 1/2 hour dinner can make you tired.

 my DH is at Disney right now for a convention. He has been there since Sunday and I sit home with 2, yes 2, 14 yr old's who act like they are 2! Oh the drama.

So far he has sent me a pic of him lying in a hammock at Coronado Springs, a beautiful palm tree, sunset over the Beach Club, and view of the Boardwalk at dusk! Needless to say, no supper for a week for him!:snooty:

Can't say as I blame you!

I know everyone says men are just wired differently from men but wow!

I played Nurse Mom (ok, so it wasn't super hard but still), had Mac 'n Cheese for supper (that was our whole supper) and he got a nice night out PLUS got to go to bed early?

DS11 has been coughing and sniffling for the last hour or so, different symptoms than DS15 showed. Guess who'll be up with him?

Maybe our husbands could share a doghouse when yours gets home. :lmao:

As my dear mother would say, "He must be caught up". :rolleyes1

Aww--it is hard to be home when they are out having all the "fun" so whine away.

Mine is in Chicago right now. He had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and the group did a Segway tour. Last week he was in Bangkok and there was a huge awards banquet with a party with traditional dancers, amazing Thai food, a little too much to drink, etc. Meanwhile the kids and I have normal life:lmao:

Anyway--I do know that, at least in the culture my husband works in, he really cannot bring home an item from a work dinner without it being frowned upon--like the person wants the company to pay for food for the wife or some such. SO maybe that is why he didn't bring you anything?:confused3 As for the going to bed early--well it is a bit inconsiderate and he should understand your need for some adult time, but I know business dinners actually CAN be exhausting--you have to be "on" the while time and trying to really focus on so many things, as jealous as I get sometimes I know it is often NOT a relaxing or fun things at all.

Now--where he messed up your girls' night out and then didn't do anything either. Well, there is no excuse for that:headache:

This is called blackmail. You can use the pics as evidence against him so you can plan a nice girls' trip away sometime...;)

OP sorry you had a rough night. DH travels weekly and I get frustrated at times when he tells me about going out to dinner, "bored" in his hotel room while I sit at home with two fighting boys as I eat a PB&J for dinner.

Yeah, mine was in Maine a few weeks ago, sending me pictures of the lobster is was eating......I was home (like always) with two crazy boys, eating grilled cheese for dinner. I hear your whine, and raise you a :mad:

Now that is something to whine about!
